Fluorescence-Lifetime Super-Resolution Microscopy.
I will present our latest development of fluorescence-lifetime image scanning microscopy SMLM (FL-iSMLM), which doubles the lateral resolution of single-molecules localization microscopy (STORM and PAINT) by integrating a single-photon detector array into a confocal laser scanning microscope, allowing simultaneously for single-molecule fluorescence lifetime measurements. This enables sub-5 nm resolution imaging in fixed cells while simultaneously allowing discrimination of targets based solely on their fluorescence lifetimes.
